The iMEDIATE team regularly contribute chapters and articles to books and magazines in South Africa and internationally. We are often invited to guest edit publications, having achieved a reputation for engaging quickly and effectively with complex issues and diverse audiences to deliver impressive results.

Below are a few examples of recent commissions.

Deborah Ewing guest edited the Agenda Feminist Media Journal, Issue No. 75, titled Sexual and Reproductive Rights - HIV and AIDS Trilogy, volume 1,1.

Mabusi Kgwete contributed an article titled Beyond denial - women's dilemmas and choices around HIV-testing, treatment and disclosure, to Agenda Issue No. 75.

Deborah Ewing and Mabusi Kgwete have also co-authored, with Shaamela Cassiem of the International Budget Project, a chapter on children's participation in governance in South Africa for a publication called Children and Governance - theory and practice. The book, is compiled by HAQ (Urdu for 'rights'), the Children's Rights Centre in New Delhi, India, is being published by Routledge - India in 2009.

Becoming a survivor? Is a title of an article submitted by Mabusi Kgwete for publication in the LoveLife UNCUT Youth Magazine, 17 February 2009. This article is based on her personal abuse experience.

Mabusi Kgwete also translated a booklet, Live Life! - children advocate best practices for healing, from English to isiZulu, Phila Impilo! - Izingane ziveza ezingakuthanda ngokulashwa kwazo. A programme of Young Insights for Planning (YIP), South Africa.
